- An internal memo suggests that Apple may announce a new product soon.
After offering us three keynotes back, the Cupertino firm may well have one last surprise for us before the end of the year. A prediction already made by the leaker L0vetodream, often well informed, who had announced that Apple was preparing a kind of Christmas gift for his fans. A rumor reinforced by an internal memo recovered by our colleagues at MacRumors.
According to the latter, the Apple company plans to change its AppleCare insurance, suggesting that a new product could benefit soon. Apple sent the same type of note shortly before its latest keynote to integrate its new iPhone, iPad, and other new devices. The memo refers to the date of December 8.
Unfortunately, the note does not indicate which product Apple could unveil in a few days. The most plausible is the AirTag, the small accessory that tracks an object on which it is hung or glued, but Apple could also announce the AirPods Studio, its first headset.
It is difficult to say, in both cases, the last corridor noises suggested that they would finally be presented in 2021.
The American firm could therefore create surprise and announce a brand new product that would have escaped the rumor. We will have to wait until 8 December to be fixed.
